The Village School Project is being built to serve children in rural Malawi who have limited access to quality education, daily nourishment, and long-term support.
This school is more than a building. It is a doorway to reach children and families with the love of Jesus through education, meals, biblical truth, family care, and community relationships.
Many children in rural communities face deep poverty, vulnerability, and limited access to quality education. For some families, the need is greater than a classroom alone. Children need a safe place to learn, healthy meals during the school day, consistent care, and people who will walk with their families through seasons of hardship.
This school is being built to meet these needs in a Christ-centered environment where children can learn, be nourished, receive care, and grow in the truth of God’s Word.
Our purpose is simple: to reach children with the love of Jesus. The school is the way we can be present in their lives every day.
The Village School Project is not only a construction project. It is a long-term ministry platform.
Through the school, children will receive quality education, two healthy meals each school day, biblical discipleship, and consistent care from trusted adults. Families will also be connected to support through home visits, community relationships, and care staff who help understand needs beyond the classroom.
Our prayer is that every child who enters this school will experience more than academic instruction. We want them to know they are seen, valued, loved by God, and created with purpose.

The school will provide a strong early-learning foundation and, as God provides, grow one grade at a time toward Standard 8.

Each student will receive two healthy meals each school day so children can learn with strength, focus, and dignity.

The school will create daily opportunities for children to hear God’s Word, learn biblical truth, and experience the love of Jesus Christ.

Social workers and community care staff will remain connected to children and families, helping understand home needs and support vulnerable families.

As the campus grows, the school facilities can be used for practical community training such as farming, tailoring, sewing, knitting, welding, and other life-building skills.

Local community members will have opportunities to serve through cooking, cleaning, gardening, campus care, and other school support roles.
Preschool students will be the first direct beneficiaries, with the goal of growing grade by grade over time.
Families will be connected through school relationships, home visits, care staff, and ongoing support.
As the campus grows, the school can also serve the wider community through gatherings, training, discipleship, and practical support.
Construction has begun on the bathrooms and will move into the second classroom block soon

After only 3 months, we are overjoyed to announce that the first classroom block is COMPLETE!!!

We broke ground on the bathrooms in September and hope to finish by November.

Now that the classroom is complete, we can focus on the launch preparations for students.
With the completion of the first classroom block, the team will focus on preparing for the first preschool students.

Furnishings, books, uniforms, and classroom supplies

Teacher hiring, curriculum preparation, and food planning

Family visits, student selection, and staff hiring
The target window to welcome the first preschool students is November 2026. This first launch will begin the daily rhythm of education, meals, care, and discipleship for children in the village.

Child sponsorships are needed to pay tuition, teacher salaries, and food budget

We hope to start welcoming our first set of students in November 2026!

Watch as the children thrive and grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Once the bathrooms are complete and operating, we will focus on finishing the rest of the needed structures.

The next priority is building a kitchen for the school. This space will make it possible to prepare the two healthy meals for all students daily. Cost: $20,000.
The kitchen will be an important part of caring for the children well and helping make sure they are ready to learn, grow, and thrive.

Following the kitchen, the next priority will be two additional classroom blocks. Each additional block is currently estimated at approximately $70,000 each.
These classrooms will help the school grow beyond the first group and make room for future students and grade levels.

This facility will serve as chapel, cafeteria, school and parent meetings, community training, and discipleship opportunities. Cost: TBD
This space will help the school serve the students, their families and the wider community.

As the village school prepares to open, student sponsorships will help provide the ongoing support needed to keep the school running and make it possible for the children to attend completely free of charge.
The children who will attend come from some of the most vulnerable families in the community—families who simply could not afford school tuition, uniforms, meals, or supplies on their own. We never want a child’s financial circumstances to keep them from receiving an education, so there will be no tuition charged to these students.
These precious children are also growing up in a Muslim environment and have not had the opportunity to know who Jesus is or understand what He has done for them. That is one of the things that makes this school so important to us. Along with receiving a good education, healthy meals, and consistent care, they will have the opportunity to hear about Jesus in a safe and loving environment. They will learn that they were created by God, that He knows them, and that His love for them is real.
Sponsorship is a tax-deductible gift of $50 per month, and those gifts help cover the everyday costs of operating the school—teacher support, two healthy meals each school day, books, uniforms, classroom supplies, and other needs. In other words, sponsorship helps make it possible for the school to remain free for the children and their families.
But the impact goes far beyond meeting practical needs. Each child will have the opportunity to learn, grow, be cared for, receive biblical discipleship, and hear the truth about Jesus.
Because the school is beginning with just 35–40 students, there will be a limited number of sponsorships available at first. As you read this, would you take a moment to pray about whether sponsoring one of these children might be something God is asking you to be part of? We would love to see each student surrounded by people who are praying for them and helping make this opportunity possible.
Sponsorships cover teacher support, two healthy meals each school day, books, uniforms, classroom supplies, and other needs that make the school possible. When you sponsor a student, you’ll be paired with one of the preschoolers in our program. You’ll receive photos, information about your student and their family, and regular updates as they learn and grow.
Please pray for:
The Village School Project is moving forward, but the work is not finished yet. Your partnership helps continue construction and prepare a place where children can receive education, daily nourishment, biblical truth, and the love of Christ.
Every gift helps move this project closer to completion and brings us one step closer to welcoming children into a safe, Christ-centered school environment.
